About the project

G4 consists of four structurally combined unique modern smart cities located along the republican highway Almaty – Ust-Kamenogorsk at the section of Almaty – Kapshagay.
The main objective of this project is to create new smart cities of Almaty metropolis with favorable conditions for rapid business development and comfortable life of people.
For the past eight years since the launch of the project great work has been performed with support of government-private partnership (GPP). Since the start of the project we’ve come a long way from creation of the concept to the first developer coming to the site equipped with all the utilities.
One of the unique features of this project is commissioning of residential buildings together with social-cultural facilities built under government-private partnership framework.
GATE CITY – “GATE” to Almaty metropolis


Business and financial center.
Passenger and transport hub - railway and bus terminals, first-ever in Kazakhstan monorail road connected to the city subway.
Highways of national significance Almaty-Ust-Kamenogorsk and Almaty Big Junction Road (BAKAD) – which will be a part of the road corridor joining West Europe and West China (Silk Road) will pass through the city.
Food cluster of Almaty.

GOLDEN CITY - City of Education, Sport and Health
Conglomerate of breakthrough theoretical and applied sciences facilities, state of the art healthcare establishments and educational institutions built following the classic principle of university campuses.
General and specialized medical and health institutions intergraded into a single structure and built based on the concept of modern approach and requirements.
Sports facilities of Olympic standard meet the requirements for holding large-scale international competitions and are available for residents for daily use. Specialized sports schools and clubs are designed for children and youth.
The largest in the region Horseracing Park is a place for revival of Kazakh traditions of horse competitions. It is also available for sports and entertainment events.
Agro-industrial enterprises of Almaty food supply belt, built in line with the modern concept of clean, high-tech production, become the basis for research and development of advanced agricultural enterprises.
GROWING CITY – international transport and logistics hub


Structural idea of the city is the creation of one of the largest transport and logistics hub and center of wholesale trade in the territory of Eurasian Economic Union
Several factors promote creation of special economic zone (SEZ) in the GROWING CITY: the largest land port of the country through transport corridors, Zhetygen-Khorgos railway, and further, Lianyungang-Urumqi, and Western Europe-Western China ("Silk Road") highway, as well as, proximity from Almaty International Airport, good infrastructure, large variety of offices and warehouses, plots of land for the construction of production facilities, business centers, hall for exhibitions and events, hotels.
SEZ provides with excellent conditions for doing business in fields of production, trade, logistics, professional services, etc., which in fact gives infinite opportunities for foreign investors.
GREEN CITY – Entertainment city


Located on the shores of Kapshagai Lake, GREEN CITY is the largest resort area.
Beach vacations, amusement park, aquarium, casinos and golf courses will be available to a vast audience thanks to proximity to the international airport and extended road infrastructure.
Special emphasis is placed on environmental improvement.
Prestigious low-rise buildings and large park zones create a recreational atmosphere.
